When Washington Governor Jay Inslee’s new food restrictions shook an already unstable Seattle restaurant scene, countless chefs, owners and operators reconfigured how they would stay afloat in the coming month.

In order to prevent the spread of the new type of corona virus, Inslee ordered all indoor restaurants to be closed by December 14th.

With no additional economic support officially released to small businesses across the Emerald City, a multitude of restaurants and bars are expected to have either cash left over to reconfigure an outside environment to switch take-out and delivery-only, for the Winter to overwinter or close forever altogether.
