Santoro to serve as HNTB’s new Seattle architecture leader

Jennie Santoro is HNTB’s new director of the Seattle architecture studio.

Jennie Santoro, AIA, NCARB, is the new director of the architecture studio at HNTB Corporation in Seattle.

Based in the Bellevue, Washington office, Santoro oversees the growing workforce of architects and civil engineers at HNTB. In addition, Santoro will become the new customer service manager for the Port of Seattle and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

“Jennie will lead HNTB’s strategic efforts to expand architecture in our market sectors in the Northwest,” said Kevin Collins, PE, office manager and vice president of Seattle. “It will intensify our ongoing collaboration with the company’s engineers and planners to provide the full range of services required to support our customers. Your strong leadership will help further expand our architecture office in aviation, transit and sports projects. “

Santoro, an NCARB certified registered architect, has worked for HNTB in Los Angeles, San Diego and Washington, DC.

She brings more than a decade of experience with some of the largest and most complex aviation projects in the country and has also worked on HNTB projects at international airports in Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, Oakland, Hawaii and Bermuda.

“With an outstanding career in architecture and aerospace at HNTB, Jennie brings our clients significant national experience and will help them guide their most challenging projects,” said Chris Migneron, AIA, NCARB, director of national architecture practice at HNTB and Senior Vice President. “Her broad skills and strong leadership skills will help shape the design, planning and innovation of aviation for years to come.”

Santoro earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees in architecture from the Catholic University of America, School of Architecture and Planning, in Washington, DC

She is active in industry organizations such as the American Institute of Architects, the Airport Consultants Council and the Airport Cooperative Research Program.

HNTB also said Santoro is passionate about mentoring and sharing her expertise through HNTB’s Spark Mentorship program and ACE mentorship program.
