In the first quarter of 2021, the company announced several placements of its beverage products with regional grocers in markets on the US West Coast, including Market of Choice in Oregon, Jensen’s in Southern California, and the large natural grocery chain Sprouts Farmers Market with an extensive presence on the West Coast with over one third of the locations (over 360 stores in 23 states) in California and Washington state1. The company recently announced further developments related to its expansion efforts in 2021 such as: B. an in-house beverage can facility and distribution agreements with regional and national wholesale partners.
Metropolitan Market was founded in 1971 as an independent grocer with a “curious” approach to merchandising.
