The text asks patients to notify WA Notify, which will warn other people who may have been exposed to the virus.

WASHINGTON – As of Monday, the Washington state Department of Health began sending text messages to anyone who tested positive for the coronavirus. The move is part of their efforts to improve WA Notify, the COVID-19 app for notifying the state of exposure, according to DOH.
