Earlier this week, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) announced that restaurants with a liquor license could temporarily sell closed and sealed bottles of beer, wine, and liquor as long as they are accompanied by food. Jay Inslee’s mission, “Stay at Home, Stay Healthy”, included breweries and wineries on the “Essential Businesses” list. what does that mean to you? It’s now easier than ever to buy alcohol in Seattle, be it through delivery or roadside pickup. While you can’t currently enjoy Machine House’s barrel-conditioned beers in your brewery, you can still get the taste fresh on tap at home: They now offer a 5-liter keg bag in a box “in their online shop, the Contains 10.6 pints of beer each and comes with a keg spigot and can be ordered for delivery or roadside pickup.

Women’s History Month was largely overshadowed this year in Seattle, but it’s not over yet. Although originally intended for taproom release, the IPA (You Should) Smile More West Coast developed by the women of the Ballard Brewed Coalition is now canned.
