Pickleball is popular – and you have a new option where to play in West Seattle. The photo and the announcement were sent by Verne::
Lifelong Recreation is offering a new game option on the courts of the Delridge Community Center in coordination with a program called Rec ‘N the Streets.
Every Wednesday from 11pm to 1pm, all four pickleball courts are reserved for the pickleball game. They hope to entice players to take advantage of these spaces and introduce new players to the game. Nets were purchased, along with paddles and balls, and some bright, reflective pitch markings to help players see the pitch lines better.
Do you have a friend who wants to learn to play? Have them appear in Delridge on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Do You Have Some Teens In Need Of PE Loan? Take her to Delridge on Wednesdays.
It only lasts until mid-April. Adequate social distancing and masks are required.
The Courts are located next to the Community Center at 4501 Delridge Way SW.
