One more reminder – tomorrow you have three ways to get free food on vacation when you need it:
EASTRIDGE CHURCH’S TURKEY AND FOOD EVENT: Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday in front of Church in 39th, Oregon, Eastridge’s annual drive-up turkey and food distribution. They have hundreds to hand out (plus gloves while they last) and ask people not to arrive early so as not to disrupt traffic in the area. Please approach the church heading north on 39th. No contact – pop your trunk – but please leave your mask on.
FROM THE WEST SEATTLE FOOD BANK: In addition to what they do at the grocery bank, they also have a special distribution on Saturday.
West Seattle Food Bank, partnered with South Seattle College, will be holding a drive-through distribution on Saturday, November 21st at 10am at South Seattle College, North Lot # 1, 6000 16th Ave SW. Each family can get a turkey along with a box of fresh produce and dairy products. Everyone has to wear masks and stay in their car.
Open to everyone, not just customers who are WSFB customers.
LARGER SEATTLE FIL-AM SDA CHURCH’S HOLIDAY MEAL BOXES: The church in 2620 SW Kenyon has been distributing food regularly and on Saturday, starting at 2 p.m., 50 boxes of turkey, potatoes, filling, brownie mix and fruit will be handed out.
