“Take a knee for justice”: As already mentioned, Admiral UCC Church continues this weekly personal – but distanced – event on Mondays:
The Admiral Church sponsors weekly “Take a Knee for Justice” events on the lawn of the church until Monday evening (June 15, 22 and 29) at 8:00 pm on Monday evening. We will kneel in silence for 8 minutes to mourn the deaths of all those colored people who were murdered by the white supremacy and to protest against racial injustices. Then we’ll sing a song together; no talking, no preaching, just coming together as a community. Bring masks and protest signs if you have them. We’ll have some available too.
The church is located at 4320 SW Hill.
